In 2007 Lee founded the Take Away Theatre Company. It is one of the fastest growing Theatre in Education companies operating in the UK. Since 2007 the company has toured ten productions and reached an audience of over 250,000 young people. The company produce original drama that is powerful and engaging as well as retelling classic stories in new and interesting ways.

Lee remains the Artistic Driector of the company and has directed all productions to date.
